Go or No-Go?

I would say get used to the concept of T storms and embrace them but not out in the open or above timberline. Solid rain gear and layers, no cotton. Climbing a peak? Start early, very early, and if black clouds come in on your exit route bail. The peak will be there next time. Getting a good forecast is smart but note that T storms are forecasted based on statistics from previous years and decades.

Go anyway...next time.

What this guy said.

Afternoon t-storms are the norm in the Uintas. Go, enjoy the rain, don't be afraid to bail on a summit if it isn't looking good.

Go. If you wait for a perfect forecast you'll literally never go. Adjust on the fly to the weather conditions that you face. Be smart and conservative.
