Canaan Mountain conditions?

Anyone know if Canaan Mountain via Water Canyon, up to the white domes or so, would be a reasonable hike this weekend, or is it too snowy up there? I have a 10yo and 12yo; they're pretty nimble but aren't going to do deep snow or slippery/steep rocks. Thanks!

Even though I haven't been in that area, water canyon is probably chock full of snow and there are some areas within it that are already decently exposed and any snow/ice in there could be treacherous. Im not sure how conditions have changed since @ram's visit (see his TR if not already) but I cant imagine them being much different since the approach is all on the canyon walls

Need some beta about the road conditions towards TH.
A couple of years ago I returned halfway between town and TH. To many deep ruts for a RV.

I wish I had concrete plans, but I don't yet. If I get beta I will let you know!
