Update. I added 1 more night on Thursday night, 12/11 in Rocky. I went up hoping to capture the Geminids. At the last minute I threw my camping gear in the Jeep, just in case... No wind, which is rare at this time of year. Only 3 other people in the campground. I didn't get any meteors, but I did get a few photos I was happy with.

Last night was the annual trip out to the sewer pipes at Lucin for the solstice. Took the old transcontinental railroad grade out there yesterday with a large group and spent the night. Did the big potluck dinner, I grilled up baby backs for my contribution, had the huge bonfire and sipped some Rye. Little bit wet last night and this morning was a bit muddy...

Awesome! I was thinking about heading out there this weekend for the solstice, but the weather deterred me. I've never been. If you make that trip annually maybe I'll see you out there one of these years.

I just went back through all the posts in this thread until August 1st and grabbed everyone's most recent post. Anyone have any nights to add? Some pretty amazing numbers in there. It was my lowest number in years, but I can't complain given the reason. I'm setting my 2015 goal at 60. Who else has a number in mind?
