    Green River Lakes

I've decided, a kayak will be a necessary investment. I do more rowing these days than hiking (more of a time issue with school) but why not plan kayaking trips too!

    What are these?

I'd say they are leeches too.

    Deseret Peak

One of my favorite hikes I've done too. I did this in the fall. I also did the loop and it really does make for a great perspective. I want to do this again this summer so maybe in a couple weeks I'll go out and summit.

wow! What a great report! Makes me wish I would have set aside studying and used my spring break to be outdoors.

Your First Set of Outdoor Gear & First Trip

I'm currently taking a break from writing a paper, so I will add a little bit of information from my first backpacking trip. In summer of 2013 (August maybe) I went to White Pine Lake in Logan Canyon. It was actually a great first trip, and if I was introducing others, I would consider taking...

    Kings Peak (August 2014)

I wouldn't complain about that "senior trip". I didn't ask for one, but my sister went to New York (she saved up a good portion of the money herself though) and others in my graduating class went to the Eastern US, on a cruise and some even to Europe.

    REI Dividends

A whopping $12 (and some odd change) I didn't really purchase anything last year. Too poor from school. (Plus my focus last year was biking and rowing). I need new shoes this year but honestly that will likely be my only purchase from them.

My Cross Country Weekend Adventure in Utah

Great report! Perfect weekend to have come out as well! If it would have been one week later, you would have gotten snowed on. As mentioned previously, there is a reason those trails you were on are so popular, they are beautiful, and I could do them numerous times and never tire of them. You...

    Convertible hiking pants

I recall some not liking them, but I love the mountain hardwear convertible pants I own. There sizing is a bit different though. Also I have a pair of prana capris I've had for four years now. I've lost a little weight so they are a little loose, but they are some of the most comfortable...

Summer in the CPW- A long weekend in SLC

Nick I can't speak for Stansbury but I row on the GSL via the GSl Marina. The spiders are there and bigger than a couple weeks ago when I was there last. We always sweep out the shells to get rid of the webs and spiders. I'll have to try and take some pictures of the webs next time I'm there...
