My Drobo setup is much older (pre FireWire) and it's running on an older iMac as well. I have no problems editing photo and video so I'm sure you will be thrilled with your setup.

That gives you a big rush doesn't it. I love it when I find rock art and then later confirm through the rock art associations that its not known to them either.

Rather long story. I'll have to respond when I'm sitting at a computer instead of when I'm typing with my thumbs on an ipad.

It's especially nice if your a photographer. Great little shots of the various waterfalls (all small), the canyon frogs in the falls, the old log cabins, the windflowers along the way ( what are the tiny white flowers climbing the walls of the alcove? Columbies?).

Not sure I'd say I was afraid, but I did have a skunk climb into my sleeping bag with me once. Interesting experience to say the least.

This isn't granola, but it is my favorite energy bar for my hiking trips.

Great job. I've made a few short trips into the area in search of the glyphs. I have seen pics of the rock art before and really wanted to the the one they call DaVinci glyph. In a class, I was told the glyph of the man was done many years before somebody added the circle around his body...
Matt,
Sorry I can't help with your data, but just wanted to say hello from one avid kayaker from Portland to another.
We moved from Portland many years ago and have missed the paddling community in the PNW.
Good luck in you Lake Powell adventure.

Good day,
Last weekend a bunch of friends joined me for a hike into a remote part of the Grand Canyon to see and photograph the Shaman's Gallery pictograph panel. Thought I would share just of few photos.
Big thanks to blueeyes and Miss Buffalo for participating with the group.

I hail kayaks often and I've actually had 8 sea kayaks on the car at one time. It wasn't pretty. Most kayaks are finer glass or plastic and very rigged. That is NOT the case for Skin on Frame (SOF). You will have to take extra precautions with a SOF.
I'd be reluctant to haul them wih anything...
I use Rapid Weaver on a Mac and like it a lot. I agree with Nick though. Today I would lean toward Wordpress.

This is a great option. I actually prefer the flexibility of Rapid Serve (on a Mac) but find myself slowly transitioning to Wordpress (along with everyone else it seems).
I really like the ability to edit-/revise Wordpress sites remotely using PC or Mobile.

Hello group,
I'm researching Snake Gulch (near Freedonia, AZ) as an upcoming rock art trip. The descriptions I've read indicate there is great rock art and ruins the full length of the gulch. It shows 10 miles to the end (Wildband Spring and Trailhead) and 10 miles return.
Question is: is...
