    FITZ-BARN 2020

Ah yes... I scratched in Lima. I couldn't sit on a bike seat any longer but I also ride without a chamois. But even more my quads were in a ton of pain. All is well now. They are sore still and I have a 2 hour massage tomorrow so that will help. I will post pictures and some videos sometime this...

    Pandemic? What pandemic?

Thank you! I am in Ogden north end. I won't have time for awhile to take my kayak out. I just found it funny that the places I called said they only had appointments to put hitches on 5 weeks out. I will let you know if I need help. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Thanks Google maps. [emoji849] I am glad the evac order was lifted. Also thanks for the tip on the hitch. I will look into it. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    Pandemic? What pandemic?

I need a hitch put on my new van. Everyone is booked 5 weeks out. I need it to tow a small boat trailer and for my bike rack. But because Everyone is out buying RVs they are complicating my life. Have you been in a bike shop lately? It is surreal. Every shop I have been in is sold out of adult...

    FITZ-BARN 2020

Service up there is spotty at best. And I will be conserving battery life best I can. But I will definitely post some stuff when I get back. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    FITZ-BARN 2020

Not sure if ya'll would be interested or not. But maybe you can turn it into some game of betting on if I make it or get eaten by a bear. [emoji1787] Seriously is a possibility in the area I am headed. I think they have had 2 encounters up there now. Anyway I am "racing" I use the term loosely...

What does this mean on a map?

I looked at that key but it didn't have that shape. I needed it to be more obvious apparently. But now that I go back and look at the map again the same symbol with the 75 in it follows a road. I just kept thinking half empty red solo cup. [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    COVID-19 Affecting Your Plans?

I hate biting flies. Does this answer your question? Mosquitoes were annoying the first night. But the day I SUP'd all day those bleep flies kept taking juicy bites from the back of my legs and ankles. Bug spray did not help. By the time we got to camp my arms were toast because we had a pretty...

    COVID-19 Affecting Your Plans?

I didn't want to post in here about plan changes until my big trip was either canceled or I got to go. I was afraid I would jinx the trip. This has been the strangest year. Rather difficult one. We booked the trip the first week of January to raft the Gates of Lodore July 10-13th with OARS...

Recommendations in the Gros Ventre and Washakie Wilderness Areas

I believe it was in August right before i moved back to UT and we came across a handful of people. Zero problem finding a camp spot. I guess your busy and my definition of busy are probably different. But honestly I felt like I was by myself 89% of the time because my hiking partner moved on...

Recommendations in the Gros Ventre and Washakie Wilderness Areas

Not Gross Ventre or Washakie but Alaska Basin is on the Wyoming/Idaho side of the Tetons. Probably one of the prettiest hikes I have ever done. You could make it as long or as short as you wanted. It is in the Caribou-Targhee NP. Wasn't very crowded when I packed it in August a few years back...
