What a great trip! I wanted to see more photos, but the link isn't working for me.

I have a mountain hardware softshell jacket that has a zipper that is separating. It isn't a sewn section, but was either glued or maybe melted together? Any suggestions on how to fix this? I suppose I could sew it back together, but wondering what else might work.

Looks like a great trip, can't go wrong in the Rawahs! One thing, I believe the small gage rail bed you saw is actually the side of a ditch. You can see it marked on the forest service map. It pulls water that would normally flow North into Wyo and diverts it into the tunnel just to the East...

Close enough! This is about 1 mile to the North of Mount Davis. There was some new LIDAR data that suggests that this area might be higher than Mt Davis.
