Since this was brought up in another thread, here you go...

What apps do you use or have that for any outdoor related activity?

Personally I have on my phone:

Wiciloc
US Topo Maps
Bike Activity
Trimble Outdoors (just installed tonight)
SAS Survival Lite
Super Swiss Army Knife
Outdoor Survival Traps
Outdoor Survival Fire
Camping Recipies
USMC Close Combat
USMC Summer Survival
USMC Winter Survival
Hunting Checklist
Bug Out Bag Checklist
Survival Backpack

And I am sure there are a few others I have downloaded and installed that I am forgetting. Most are just there for referance... I do use on a regular basis Bike Activity to track my milage and maintinance on my bicycle. Hunting Checklist lets me make custom checklists for various needs.

Most of the apps I download and install are free, if the version I am currently using I happen to have paid for, there is a free version available for it.

Lets hear what apps you have and use and your thoughts on them from your user POV.

Recently someone recommended NeoTreksGPS to me. I downloaded it but have not paid the $15 to get access to the map details. i didn't realize that it was so pricey. $15 would not be that bad except that there seem to be so many free or nearly free ones out there.

Avalanche Forecast
Backcountry Navigator (I've had this for quite sometime I only really use it on backpacking trips when I know someone doesn't have gps )
Boat Coach (for rowing and knowing my Strokes/min) Also helps with knowing distance traveled/time
SailFlow (check current winds, helpful especially for rowing although I use it to know what I'm going into on my bike)
Strava (practically all of my bike rides are recorded here)

Oh and some knots one I can't seem to recall the name of at the moment

I don't have too many apps on my phone. If I don't use them often enough they get removed. That bike app looks interesting and might be worthwhile since I commute by bike. However my bike I use is 15 years old and some of the things that could be fixed won't be worth the investment if I'm planning on purchasing a bike next year.

I use RadarScope to track the weather. I also keep going back to GPS Kit for my trips. I have tried a lot of others but always go back.
